Order Placement and Communication

Delivery of Maxam flooring should be easy and we aim to keep it this way. However we would strongly recommend that you please read these notes carefully to avoid any unnecessary inconvenience.

  1. Once we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation email (If the details within the email are incorrect in any way and you fail to notify us of this fact before the items are dispatched , you will be liable for all carriage costs incurred in the delivery, return, and re-delivery of the items even if the items ordered are incorrect. )
  2. Your order will be picked and prepared for dispatch.
  3. You will receive an e-mail telling you that your order has been dispatched.
  4. The courier will call you to arrange a convenient delivery date. We cannot offer a specific time slot; delivery will be between 8am and 6pm at the discretion of the courier. However, we do also offer an optional Saturday delivery.
  5. When we deliver your order, you must check that everything is in order and that no damage has occurred in transit.  If it has you must notify us immediately and reject the order.  The courier will take it away again.

Our courier is not insured to carry the delivery into your property; therefore you need to arrange for at least two able-bodied people to be at home in order to receive your order.



The majority of orders are dispatched with a lead time of 2-3 working days (a precise date can be requested).

Next day delivery can be arranged if needed. For next day delivery, orders must be placed and full payment cleared before 11am. We cannot offer next day deliveries for orders placed over the weekend or on bank holidays. All deliveries are subject to stock being available.

Please contact us to check we can deliver to your post code by calling us. The cost of delivery will depend on the weight of the flooring and distance from our Harlow warehouse. We endeavour to despatch all orders received by 12pm, the same day. At the very latest this falls in to the following day. Please note that prices for postage do include packing time and material costs.

Delivery times are between 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you an estimated time of arrival as we use a pallet courier to deliver the goods. If there is the likelihood of delay or we are unable to fulfil an agreed delivery date, we will contact you in advance to discuss alternative options. Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any other location. We have developed a very reliable carrier delivery service but it is possible due to unforeseen circumstances that an order may not reach its destination within the stated time frame, for this reason we strongly advise against booking installers until your goods have arrived as we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss.
